Midwestern IT Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Business Analyst (Ref# BA415DM).

Work Location: St. Charles, IL and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties: Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Gather and analyze business and process requirements. Design Business Requirements Document (BRD) and Functional Specifications Document (FSD). Define business needs and translate requirements into technical specifications for developers. Analyze business requirements and work with production data to validate the requirements. Conduct regular peer reviews of requirements. Ensure all data/systems business requirements are accurately gathered, customers are being served, and communication with clients and vendors is effective to ensure that data systems meet the needs of the programs. Evaluate, analyze, and communicate financial / operational systems requirements and maintain systems processes. Document and realign business rules and requirements to ensure the accuracy of the data collection, calculations, and internal validations. Support delivery models, work cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. Involved in PMO (project management office) governance and Agile/Scrum execution. Seek, identify, and recommend processes to maximize efficiency and accuracy. Create and maintain internal documents including financial requirements, dataflow diagrams, and flow charts. Partner with stakeholder teams to create necessary analysis and documentation. Monitor and coordinate project activities with other Business Analysts. Review project milestones and deliverables and facilitate meetings related to IT projects and progress. Review project status reports by collecting and analyzing report summaries. Stay up to date with current market technologies and trends.

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business/Data Analytics, or a related field. 40hrs/week.

Salary: $ 99,840 / year
